What's It About?
One of the things that every Christian struggles with is how to thrive. We may know what the Bible tells us to do, but we seem to stumble and fall more than we succeed. One step forward, two steps back is the common lament that many Christians share. What if I told you that the struggle you feel is completely normal? What if I told you that every “successful” Christian you know endures the same frustration? The Bible tells us we ALL stumble in many ways. So how do we move from a frustrating journey to a victorious journey? Renewed dives into the realities that every believer must square up with before they can flourish. Why Did I Write It?
All of my writing is born from a heart to help people, but this one was especially motivated by that desire. While I don't claim to have figured all of this out perfectly, I've seen many believers get stuck in a season of their spiritual life and get frustrated. I have been there, and I know that for me, part of my problem was deeply tied to mind renewal. I was stuck because I had not been letting God's Word renew my mind. I don't think I'm alone in that. We can only live on yesterday's blessings for so long before we get spiritually malnourished and stuck. This book shares some of the things I have discovered on my own journey that helped me begin flourishing spiritually again.
Why Read It?
Every believer is called to live an abundant life, but to access that life, we all must undergo the renewing of our mind. Romans 12:2 says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." This book will equip you with some powerful things that will help you understand why mind renewal is vital. My hope is that as you read it, you will move forward in your faith journey and that your mind will be transformed in a way that readily knows the voice of the Holy Spirit and can discern that good, acceptable and perfect will of God.
